Evil Pieces: DxD into D&D
High School DxD is a manga and anime series that has angels, the fallen angels, and the devils. The devils have Evil Pieces – which are basically chess pieces and convey different powers to people who are reincarnated into devils.
It made me think, how could this be used in D&D? Could I have a powerful devil (the King) be in control of 15 less powerful devils, but have them have unique powers based on DxD? (1 Queen ♛, 2 Rooks ♜, 2 Bishops ♝, 2 Knights ♞, and 8 Pawns ♟)
I got some more information about the Evil Pieces from the High School DxD Fan Wikia
