Tékumel: Zrné “the Barbed One”
Zrné “the Barbed One”, “the Barbed Orc”
This beast has six legs and moves similarly as arachnids. They have three eyes, a monstrous jaw lined with rows of needle-pointed barbed teeth, and are 3 meters (10 ft.) long. It’s fur is a muddy grey colour.
The Zrné can jump as high as 3 meters (10 ft.) from standing. Its hide is practically impervious to ordinary missiles, and the teeth come out easily and remain fixed in a victim’s flesh, where they inject a deadly poison.
They are commonly found in deep forests, jungles, and mountain foothills. A larger sub-species is found in the highlands of Jánnu and Kilalámmu. It is a favorite totem animal of the shamans of Rannálu.
