Review: Into the Boarderlands for 5e (2018 May 15)
I’ve spoken about ‘Keep in the Boarderlands’ before being a foundation module for when I first started playing D&D.
Originally created for the Original Basic D&D, but was used with all the editions I’ve enjoyed (3\3.5 are not in the “enjoyed”, and 4th I missed compeletly).
Now it’s being converted for 5th Edition and I’m apprehensive. Raw conversion will be boring and useless; and experienced DM could do that on the fly. But additional content, expanded story, and extras that will apparently be included. That is what is going to draw my interest, but we’ll see if it’s worth the $50 price tag!
“Herein you will find high-quality scans from multiple printings of the original first edition adventure modules, plus commentary by such gaming luminaries as Luke Gygax and Mike Mearls. Full fifth edition conversions of both adventures are included, as well as brand new additional adventure locations to further expand and develop the Borderlands.”
